The V&A museum of design in Dundee will be an international centre of
design for Scotland, the first design museum to be built in the UK outside of London.
This building was designed by the renowned architect Kengo Kuma, this will be his first design to be built in the UK. The V&A will exhibit world class touring galleries, and these are the only purpose built galleries in Scotland large enough to showcase the exhibitions in their totality. The V&A Dundee is intended to make a positive impact on the city by stimulating its development, increase the creation of numerous tourism related jobs and widen job creation by spearheading design led business innovation.
Avantgarde first started working with the V&A Dundee site at the beginning of 2015, and supplied CCTV in the form of our 6M tall towers equipped with the latest HD camera and 4G data sims.
In order to secure the multi million pound assets on site, Avantgarde also supplied fully uniformed, trained and licenced guards both in static and mobile deployments. These supplementary services were ideal in supporting the CCTV towers during periods of transition as the project evolved.
Avantgarde currently supply a full range of onsite services across the UK and have experience in large infrastructure projects. The V&A Dundee site is a good example of how we can help clients achieve a well run and secure project.
